Welcome to The Duke of Cumberland, one of Kendal's great pubs! We are a mighty food and drinks venue with a unique brewhouse and kitchen style. If you are looking for Kendal beer gardens then look no further. Following our refurbishment you can now enjoy your beer or wine in the sun and open air. With space for 120 people outside plus four cabins with fire pits. The Duke is the go to open air drinking and dining venue.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at The Duke of Cumberland. Book your indoor table or outdoor cabin ahead to avoid disappointment as we can get very busy. Our large beer garden operates on a first come first seated basis but we have over 150 seats so there is plenty of space. 

 

Please note there is a non-refundable £5 fee per cabin which covers the cost of the gas fire pit for two hours.
